Nun veröffentlichte der ebenfalls allseits bekannte Blog Gizmodo heute einen Bericht, wonach der Apple Support zugibt, dass das Problem wohl doch nicht mit dem Update erledigt sein wird.
Wir alle wissen, dass die Firma Apple mit dem neuen iPhone 4 ein Riesenproblem hat. Hält man das Telefon an der linken unteren Ecke, treten Probleme mit dem Empfang auf, teilweise bricht dieser vollständig zusammen. Apple hat Untersuchungen angestellt und mitgeteilt, dass die Signalbalken des iOS falsch angezeigt werden. Statt zum Beispiel zwei Balken anzuzeigen, werden stets vier angezeigt. Mit einem Softwareupdate, das in Kürze erscheinen soll, sollte dieser Missstand erledigt werden. Soweit die offiziellen Auskünfte des Computerherstellers aus Cupertino.
Nun haben Blogger von Gizmodo, der Blog der auch für den Skandal um die Vorabveröffentlichung des iPhone 4 Prototypen verantwortlich war und seither der Firma Apple wohl eher ein Dorn im Auge sein dürfte, beim Apple Care Support mehrmals angerufen und sich als iPhone 4 Kunden mit besagten Empfangsproblemen ausgegeben.
Stets erhielten sie von der Hotline die gleiche Antwort: das Softwareupdate wird das Antennenproblem des iPhone 4 nicht beheben!
Die einzige Lösung ist und bleibt anscheinend der Kauf der Schutzhülle Bumper oder einfach das Telefon anders zu halten.
